Work progressing apace on Portstewart Prom today (Monday 5th) as NI Water and DFI swing into action following the bad weather which affected Portstewart on Sunday resulting in the drainage being unable to cope with the amount of water. Pedestrians and road uses had to move quickly as the road lifted due to the force of water.
The Cracked roadway is being lifted and replaced temporarily until the autumn when a more substantial job can be done.
The Prom remains open for business with an additional tourist attraction to boot!
