CAUSEWAY COAST TRUCK FESTIVAL POSTPONED UNTIL 2022

(Official Statement)

The Causeway Coast Truck Festival committee with a heavy heart this evening have to announce that we have decided to postpone the 2021 Causeway Coast Truck Festival due to take place on the 21st & 22nd August. 💔

Like last year, this has not been an easy decision and we held out as long as we could, but due to the current uncertainty surrounding government guidelines on large events, and the limits on numbers even via risk assessment, we unfortunately have to believe that there will still be some restrictions on large gatherings and continued social distancing come August, which would mean we just wouldn’t be able to deliver a weekend on the Causeway Coast that everyone would be able to be part of, which is what the heart and soul of our festival is all about.

As an organisation we put the health, safety and well-being of all who attend the event first and foremost, from all our fantastic truck drivers, their families and friends, their companies, our traders and all the public who show us so much support, and more so the support you all show our charity the Air Ambulance Northern Ireland every year. 🚁

You all come first as does the health, safety and the recovery of our local community right here on the Causeway Coast in the Portstewart, Coleraine and Portrush areas.

We want everyone to get through this current situation that we find ourselves in, and come out the other side, so we all can have many many more years of events ahead.

The CCTF Committee wish to thank you all for your continued support over the last few
years and we thank you all for your continued understanding now.

We are announcing this evening that we WILL be back on the Causeway Coast in 2022 over the weekend of the 20th & 21st August, and we promise that our event will be BIGGER, BETTER and a full on weekend of Trucking and Country Music to celebrate our return here on the Causeway Coast, as there are SO MANY ideas and partnerships in the pipeline that we can’t wait to share with everyone.

Until then we want everyone to stay safe and we look forward to welcoming you back to the Causeway Coast next August.
