The Mayor of Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council has offered his congratulations to a couple from Portstewart on the occasion of their Diamond wedding anniversary.
Alderman Mark Fielding, accompanied by the Mayoress Mrs Phyllis Fielding, made a special presentation to William and Finola Creelman as they celebrate 60 years of marriage.
William is well known in the local area as a former Deputy Mayor and long serving member of the legacy Coleraine Borough Council.
Alderman Mark Fielding said: “A diamond anniversary is a very special occasion and as Mayor of the Borough I offer my very best wishes to William and Finola.
“William and Finola are close friends of our family and I have many fond memories of working alongside William on Coleraine Borough Council. It was a unique honour for me to make this presentation to a former colleague.
“I offer them both my warmest wishes and I hope they continue to enjoy good health and happiness together.”
