The fire which totally engulfed the previous Flemings factory resulting in a major incident being declared, with NIFRS having to pull resources from across the province to deal with the intense fire which was well developed when firefighters arrived on the scene.
The vacant factory has seen a number of fires started in it in recent years, but this one has totally destroyed what remains of the factory.
At its peak, over 100 firefighters were working to stop the fire spreading to neighbouring businesses. Thankfully it was contained within the existing premises and there has been no reports of anybody harmed during the fire.
Nearly 16 hours later, and small plumes of smoke were still visible from the site.
