FORMER BALLYMONEY MAYOR HAS DIED

Frank Campbell who was well known in the local area as a DUP Councillor and former Mayor of Ballymoney has sadly died. Frank was elected as a DUP Councillor in 1993 and remained so until he stood down at the last election.
Frank held his seat in the Bushvale ward, later becoming Causeway DEA in the reshaped Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council following the merger of the local councils.
He was well liked within the Council Chamber and held the position of Ballymoney Mayor three times during his career, in 1997-99, 2002-04, 2009- 10. Speaking today, Winnie Mellett, said Ballymoney Chamber of Commerce was shocked and saddened to hear of his death, Frank had worked alongside the Chamber to promote Ballymoney during his time in Council and Winnie remembers fondly many meetings with Frank, and the Chamber wished to express their sympathy to the Campbell family.
Fuse fm would also like to offer Frank’s Family our deepest sympathy at this sad time.
