As most of you know, Iain is our Ska show presenter on Fuse Fm and the following explains why Iain’s fundraising for a very special cause.
On 29th May I turn 50 and bar cartilage damage to my knees, I am lucky to have all my limbs unlike the many limbless veterans who suffered in the honourable service of our country.
My aim is to raise money to help those who served and did our country proud. They, in my eyes, are brave heroes who deserve support.
Over the 50 days before my birthday to raise funds for this great cause and the work they do in Northern Ireland, I am going to
Walk 250 miles (average 5 miles a day)
Do 5,000 press ups (average 100 a day)
