About Fuse FM

Fuse FM on 107.5 Ballymoney is your local Ulster-Scots radio station for north Antrim.

Since our inception and first broadcast in December 2007, we have continued to grow and evolve, with more experience gained by our team during the RSL broadcasts.

15 Years and continuing to grow

Back in 2007, a group of locals from Ballymoney decided to broadcast a community radio station over a two-week period. They used the call sign FUSE FM (For Ulster-Scots Enthusiasts).  For the first few years, FUSE FM operated from above shops and in community buildings. In 2009, with the formation of the Ullans Speakers Association and the opening of The Ullans Centre, FUSE FM had a permanent base and purpose-built studio for the first time. Success and popularity led the Ullans Speakers Association, in early 2012, to apply to OFCOM for a full-time community radio license.

Would you like to get involved?

Fuse FM is a community radio station run by volunteers. To make the station successful we need volunteers to support in various ways. From helping out in the office for a few hours a week to reading the news and gaining On-Air experience, volunteering at Fuse FM can be a rewarding endeavor. Our volunteers gain valuable experience in a Radio Station environment while helping to support your local community.
