Ballymoney RBL 100th Anniversary

North Antrim DUP Commends Ballymoney Royal British Legion on Their 100th Anniversary
The North Antrim Democratic Unionist Party extends its heartfelt congratulations to the Ballymoney Royal British Legion on the remarkable milestone of their 100th Anniversary. For a century, the Ballymoney RBL has been an unwavering pillar of support for veterans, serving personnel, and their families, demonstrating a profound commitment to remembrance and community service.
This milestone was marked with a poignant 100th Anniversary Church Service and Act of Remembrance, which took place on Sunday, 26th January 2025, at 3:00 PM in St. Patrick’s Church of Ireland, Ballymoney. The service was a fitting tribute to the incredible work and dedication of the Ballymoney RBL, bringing together Legionnaires, veterans, youth organisation representatives, and members of the public in a moment of reflection and gratitude.
A North Antrim DUP spokesperson said
“We commend the Ballymoney RBL and its dedicated members for their invaluable contributions, not only to the armed forces community but also to the wider Ballymoney area. Their tireless work over the past century has left an enduring legacy, and we are deeply grateful for their continued dedication to the values of service and sacrifice. “
As we reflect on this special occasion, we also look forward with optimism, knowing the Ballymoney Royal British Legion will continue their vital work for many years to come. On behalf of the North Antrim DUP, thank you for all you have done and continue to do.
