The scene in Carnlough Co Antrim where a woman sadly died after getting into difficulties while swimming on Carnlough Beach.
She was prounced dead at the scene, HM Coastguard, RNLI Redbay All Weather Lifeboat, Helimed 23A (NI Air ambulace HEMS), NIAS and Police attended the scene of the incident.
This is the second such tragedy on the North Coast in a matter of days, after a man lost his life while swimming at Ballintoy Harbour last week.
